Daniel Marx is a Geologist at Umvoto with five years’ experience in the exploration and mining industry. He completed his undergraduate (Geology and Geography) and Honours (Geology) degrees at Rhodes University in Grahamstown, South Africa. Daniel also holds a Master of Science degree in Economic Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Daniel has worked in South Africa, Liberia, and Kazakhstan where he was involved in a range of exploration projects and programmes including geochemical soil sampling, geological exploration drilling and logging, due diligence studies, mapping and, GIS analysis and mapwork. Daniel’s overall experience encompasses fieldwork, database management, geological assessment and interpretation, and project management.
Daniel’s hobbies include playing various types of sport, spending time outdoors, travel, and photography.
