Over the last 40 years Ronnie has had the opportunity of operating at executive level specialising in achieving specific outputs linked mainly to systems and process development across large corporate sectors including Eskom, Portnet and Fresh Produce Terminals. He has gained extensive experience in general management and leadership over a broad spectrum of activities including planning, communications, personnel, labour relations, information systems, logistics chain, and more recently on various audit committees and board representation.
Over the last 16 years he has served on most of the Western Cape Governments’ Audit Committees. He has served as chairman and as a member of several local authorities as part of his commitment to building capacity at that level. He currently serves as Chairman of the Centre for Proteomic and Genomic Research Institute, Mediclinic Precise and the Western Cape Liquor Board. He has also served as Independent Chairman for the Kleine Zalze Group of Companies.
As Chairman of the Group of Independent Business Advisors, Ronnie has been advising and guiding a network of widely diversified experienced advisors most of whom have been accredited as International Independent Business Advisors.
Ronnie has served on the Parel Vallei Advanced Education Trust for the last 15 years and has been Chairman of the Trust for the last 10 years as part of his commitment to the education sector.
Ronnie has recently joined the team at Umvoto as Managing Director. With his wide range of business experience and financial experience, will be working with the executive management team to continue providing the leadership of the core activities of Umvoto in support of their client’s expectations.
