Warrick Daws is a Junior Hydrogeologist at Umvoto. He grew up enjoying various ocean-associated activities on the coast surrounding Cape Town. Warrick has a BSc (Hons) in Earth Science from Stellenbosch University and completed an MSc in Geology at the University of Cape Town. His studies equipped him for practical application of his theoretical knowledge. Warrick is a registered Professional Natural Scientist (Earth Science Field of Practice) with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP).
Warrick contributes a valuable problem-solving skillset to the Umvoto team. He generates solutions from his comprehensive understanding of influences on groundwater processes. At Umvoto, Warrick processes data and carries out fieldwork to assess groundwater levels and quality. He is passionate about his work and his positive mindset provides the perseverance required for success.
When Warrick is not at work, he is usually in the ocean or the mountains.
