Umvoto were winners and finalists for the 2021 The Dewatering Institute (TDI) awards categories of Wells/Drilling Project of the Year and Sustainability Excellence Company of the Year, respectively.
Zandri Rademan and Luke Towers are set to present the two case studies that we submitted in a free webinar, hosted by the TDI, on 27th July 2022. The webinar will focus on Umvoto’s innovative contributions to the City of Cape Town’s New Water Programme. These will be highlighted through our sustainability initiatives, which are underpinned by our meticulous approach, and the unique scale, depth and various techniques used to overcome the drilling challenges presented by the Table Mountain Group and Cape Flats Aquifers.
This series forms part of the TDI’s initiatives to raise the standards, ensure best practice and increase knowledge sharing in the industry for which Umvoto is pleased to be considered.
